Crisis in Pakistan as court orders arrest of PM

Pakistan's Supreme Court ordered an arrest warrant for Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and 16 others in connection with a corruption case. NBCNews.com's Dara Brown reports.

By Waj S. Khan, Producer, NBC News

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- Pakistan was plunged into a fresh political crisis Tuesday after its judiciary ordered the arrest of the prime minister over corruption allegations amid ongoing public protests.

The country?s Supreme Court ordered the detention of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and others accused of involvement in kickbacks over the construction of power stations ?-- a surprise development in an ongoing investigation.

It comes as tens of thousands of protesters occupy streets in the capital, Islamabad, demanding the resignation of the entire government.

Images of daily life, political pursuits, religious rites and deadly violence.

The demonstrators have pledged to remain on the streets in support of a populist cleric, who some allege is backed by the military.

The court's decision is likely to underline the demands of?of?Muhammad Tahirul Qadri,?who is seeking a crackdown on corruption and other reforms.

Thousands of of his supporters marched on the city Monday, promising to join the local demonstrators to establish a local version of Cairo's Tahrir Square in a bid to oust the government.

Ashraf is nicknamed 'Raja Rental' by local media because of his alleged involvement in corruption over the introduction of so-called 'rental power plants' - independently-owned plants that sold energy to the state in a bid to close a growing demand-supply gap.?

Ashraf was the?water and power minister at the time of their introduction. The schemes were ruled illegal by a court 12 months ago because of a lack of transparency,

He is the second prime minister installed by the regime of President Zardari - and the second to face a court order. The first, Yousuf Gillani, was removed by the Supreme Court last year for his failure to investigate corruption allegations against Zardari.

Leading Pakistan constitutional lawyer?Salman Raja told NBC News he believed Ashraf would remain prime minister, "even in jail."

"He is not likely to be convicted anytime soon," he said."With his arrest the entire democratic?project will suffer. And Mr. Qadri's theme will get underlined, conveniently."

He also questioned the timing of the court's announcement, coming amid the major public protests. "They could have done made this order next week. or three months ago, but they chose to pass it here, today."

(AP) ? The injury-plagued New York Knicks welcome a week with just one game. The only catch is they had to travel to London for it.

That's fine with the Knicks, who were focused more on the time off than the time change before going overseas for their game against the Detroit Pistons.

The Knicks left Monday night and the game isn't until Thursday. They return home Friday and don't play again until Monday, getting some coveted recovery time near the midpoint of their season.

"I think the NBA did a great job with the way they scheduled it, getting us over there three days early, give us a chance to get acclimated to London, and then coming back having some days off as well," Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony said. "So this is a big week for us as far as getting our bodies right and taking care of the things we've got to take care of."

Anthony and Knicks center Tyson Chandler will be back on the O2 Arena floor, where they celebrated after winning a gold medal with the U.S. men's Olympic basketball team. The memories won't be quite as fond for guard Pablo Prigioni, last seen kicking a clock off the scorer's table in anger after Argentina lost to Russia in the bronze-medal game.

The NBA wanted to quickly get back to London to build on the success of the Olympics, especially after having to cancel all its international plans last season following the lockout.

Though the sport lags well behind soccer and perhaps a few others in popularity in Britain, the NBA is serious about its overseas plans and the O2 is one of the world's finest arenas.

"We understand, I think just if you're going to pick little things that David Stern has said about the future of the NBA and the future of basketball, it'd be hard to think that the NBA at some point won't expand overseas," Knicks forward Steve Novak said. "Wherever that might be, I don't know, but obviously there's a ton of NBA fans in London, and pretty much everywhere now, so for us to go over there and play in front of people who are cheering for us that we don't really get to see, I think is very cool for us and hopefully cool for them."

The game sold out in just a few hours, the quickest for a basketball game at the O2, showing there's passion for the NBA, if not necessarily in basketball. Basic rules of the sport were explained to crowds during the Olympics, and there wasn't much boost for basketball after the poor performance by the host country.

None of that has hurt the NBA, which has five live games a week televised in Britain and is playing its fifth game in Europe this season, counting preseason.

The Toronto Raptors and Nets played the first two regular-season games in London two years ago, and Novak acknowledged it was a little "weird" to go so far to play only once. But the Knicks certainly weren't complaining, with Anthony saying there was "no better time than right now" for the light workload.

"With our team, we could use some of these days because it's been every other day, or you might have a day, and then you've got another game, so I mean we've been kind of going at it a little bit," coach Mike Woodson said.

Starting point guard Raymond Felton is in the midst of an expected four-to-six week loss with a broken finger. Veterans Rasheed Wallace and Marcus Camby are battling foot injuries that have weakened the frontcourt, and 39-year-old Jason Kidd has shown the strain of playing heavier minutes in Felton's absence.

All of them can take it easy with just game and at most two practices, and help could be on the way if guard Iman Shumpert does make his season debut after being out since tearing a knee ligament in last year's playoffs.

Woodson said the players might have a bit of time off to enjoy the sights, but NBA activities would mostly keep them busy. The Knicks wanted to make sure they stayed sharp with the next game back home Monday against Brooklyn, their city rival who is charging up behind them in the standings.

"I've been there for almost a month, two and a half weeks, this past summer, so to go back, just playing one game, definitely going to bring a lot of memories," Anthony said. "But this is still regular season for us, so that's how we've got to approach it."

Win Big With Big Win Basketball ? iPad App Review

Big Win BBall LogoDennis Rodman is back in business with collaboration on a new stats-based trading card game about basketball. In connection with Hothead Games, Rodman lent his gaming expertise for the development of Big Win Basketball.

Players are given a random start pack of virtual cards to use for the game. The deck will have at least five player cards, plus action cards, or ?Big Impact? cards.

Once your deck is built, you can name your team. You can also customize the look of each individual teammate, including name, team number, country of origin, hairstyle, hair color, skin color, facial features, and uniform colors.

After you?ve customized your team, pick the Big Impact cards you want to use in the game. The cards you choose will affect how the game will play out. Each card has certain bonuses that help your players in the game. For example, ?Cashing In Dimes? increases your team?s ability to make passes.

Big Win BBall 1Big Win BBall 2

You can watch the entire game and pay attention to where your players need to work on their skills, or you can skip to the end of the game to quickly find out who has won the game.

The end game results shows you all the game stats and box score information you need to improve your team?s skills. You team?s performance determines how many coins you earn as a reward. You can use your coins to purchase new card packs for more games.

You can enter tournaments to win big bucks and raise in the ranks. You will play against other online opponents who have created their own team.

Big Win BBall 3Big Win BBall 4

This game is definitely intended to get you to spend money. It is free to download, but there are lots of reasons you might want to spend cash on in-app purchases. For example, you can only play a certain number of games before you run out of energy, which you can buy more of through an in-app purchase. You can only customize your team once without having to pay for new changes. You can get better Big Impact cards by spending ?Bucks,? which are hard to come by in the game. You either have to purchase them or get them free by activating a TapJoy action, like signing up for a gym membership.

Although you will probably end up spending more money than you want to this game is loads of fun. Fans of basketball will enjoy the ability to watch the entire game unfold like a real basketball game. Fans of deck-building card games will enjoy the randomness of the Big Impact cards.

Big Win BBall 5Big Win BBall 6

What I liked: This is a fairly comprehensive stats game. Players increase their team?s skills using randomly generated card decks. It feels like real-life basketball trading card gaming.

What I didn?t like: The design is cluttered and difficult to navigate. When you play in a tournament, you don?t get paired up with other teams with the same skill level, yet you can sometimes win against teams that are 20 levels above you. This seems wrong.

To buy or not to buy: Since it is free to download, I?d recommend trying it if you are a basketball fan. You can?t actually play the game like you would in an arcade game, but you can create a team, add bonuses, and watch them compete against online players. Be warned that this game is geared toward getting you to spend more money through in-app purchases.

Kombucha: Probiotics for Preppers without Dairy Animals ...

You might need to take probiotics if a course of antibiotics kills off the ?friendly? bacteria in your intestinal tract. Most people know about probiotics available in yogurts with live cultures, but the prerequisite there is milk. If you?re a prepper who doesn?t have a dairy animal in your preps, are vegan, or are lactose-intolerant, you can?t or won?t be able to resupply your gut with yogurt. If that?s you, kombucha is your answer.

Byte: The Prepper Scenario

  1. The SHTF and life is reduced to surviving off your homestead.
  2. During the course of events you get an infection.
  3. You treat the infection with antibiotics from your stockpile.
  4. You get chronic diarrhea from the antibiotics.
  5. You drink kombucha regularly and the diarrhea is cured.

As a complete aside, did you know that you can grow tea here in the U.S.? Since you need it for kombucha, that?s an important consideration.

What is Kombucha?

Kombucha is an ancient sour, bubbly, fermented tea with chunky strings of bacteria in it. It?s got probiotics for sure, and a whole host of other health benefit claims that may or may not be true. You can buy it in stores or you can make it at home.

Funky and tart, I love the taste of it and feel like it helps me stay healthy. My family brews it at home because we?re fairly stringent in our food preparation and, of course, we?re frugal.

However, there are some medical concerns, so don?t just skip down to the instructions on brewing your own kombucha.

Some Background on Kombucha

Also called the ?mushroom tea? and the ?Manchurian tea?, kombucha is a fermented drink featuring a symbiotic colony of yeast and bacteria that forms into a floating pancake. The nytimes.com article starts by describing one such 20 pound pancake, although we?ve never left one to grow that large.

Kombucha is an ancient drink, although it became the rage in the health food circles as a new product back around 2003. It originated in China some 2,000 years ago, making its way from there to Japan, Russia, and India, and then to the rest of the world. It?s now been adopted by major American beverage makers like Coca-cola and is readily available at a premium in most large grocery stores.

Of course, this site is for preppers and sole proprietorship entrepreneurs, so I?m not about to go deeper into where it?s available. It used to be that the only way you could get this purportedly wonder-beverage was by brewing it at home, and that?s exactly how my wife does it ? and how I suggest you do it too. Since it?s an acquired taste, you might want to pick up a commercial variety to try it before you go about buying the supplies you?ll need for home brewing, but by no means should you start filling the pockets of the mega-corporations for stuff you can easily make at home.

Kombucha is Not for Everyone

There?s a ton of reputed health benefits that have not been confirmed by the medical establishment. While I do list these below, along with some of the warnings from medically-oriented websites, please keep in mind that I am not a doctor and don?t have any medical training. These observations and instructions are based on my experience and the research I?ve done for this article, but as always you should proceed with caution and consult a physician if you have any concerns. In short, ?kombucha is not recommended to prevent or cure any disease? and so on.

Even if, like me, you?re not overly concerned about modern medicine?s opinion, kombucha might still not be for you. It?s got a sour vinegar taste and distinctly funky odor. If you don?t prepare it correctly, you could accidentally create something quite harmful instead of healthful, so if you?re not going to bother to do it right, you might want to just buy commercial kombucha preparations.

The Health Claims Of & Good Stuff In Kombucha

It?s been claimed that kombucha fights cholesterol, improves digestion and liver function, lessens hair loss, and mitigates cancer, although the official medical establishment does not endorse those claims. Kombucha is popular as a detox drink and it?s definitely got probiotics (which have more specific health benefits, more on that below). The bodyecology.com article adds in a sense of enhanced well-being, energy, weight loss, anti-microbial action against bacteria like E. Coli, and possibly anti-fungal properties.

There?s a lot of good stuff in kombucha too:

  1. If you make your kombucha using black or green tea, which is typical, it?s also got the B vitamins and antioxidants found in those teas.
  2. The active.com article also lists vitamin C, polyphenols (a type of antioxidant), vital amino acids, and organic acids as health-giving parts of kombucha.
  3. Finished kombucha also has a very low amount of ethanol per Wikipedia, although not enough to classify it as alcoholic (normally).
Whatever the truth of all those other benefits, probiotics such as you get from kombucha are somewhat better understood. Noting that the emphasis there is on probiotics such as are obtained from yogurt, the Harvard Medical School Family Health Guide article notes:
  1. Two large reviews, taken together, suggest that probiotics reduce antibiotic-associated diarrhea by 60%.
  2. Probiotic therapy might help Chrohn?s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, and urogenital health.
  3. Probiotics are generally considered safe, but there?s a theoretical risk for people with low immune function.

As with all strong substances, moderation is advisable.

There?s been reports of serious issues like liver damage and metabolic acidosis from copious consumption of kombucha, which is inline with the high acidic content it has. Some people are also allergic or may become nauseous. The nytimes.com article cites a doctor who advises that pregnant women, old people, children, and folks with compromised immune systems should also not consume kombucha. The mayoclinic.com article by a doctor flat-out advises against drinking kombucha, by the way. The FDA report cited by msnbc.msn.com states:

Drinking this tea in quantities typically consumed (about 4 ounces daily) may not cause adverse effects in healthy persons; however, the potential health risks are unknown for those with preexisting health problems or those who drink excessive quantities of the tea.

Probiotics: The Good Stuff in Yogurt, Kefir, and Kombucha

Probiotics are intestinal bacteria; there?s over 400 types in the normal human?s digestive tract. Per webmd.com, most people use probiotics for gas, diarrhea, and cramping caused by antibiotics. This is because antibiotics can kill off the good bacteria in your gut, so you may need to replenish them for proper digestive function. The Harvard Medical School Family Health Guide article notes that probiotics help keep pathogens in check, aid nutrient absorption, and contribute to immune system function.

The other mayoclinic.com article states that there?s ?encouraging evidence? that probiotics may help:
  1. Diarrhea, especially after antibiotics
  2. Vaginal yeast and urinary tract infections
  3. Irritable bowel syndrome
  4. Bladder cancer recurrence
  5. Ezcema in children
  6. Colds & flu

How to Brew Kombucha at Home

Most of the ill-health reports of kombucha regard home-brewed tea, so you need to avoid contamination of your kombucha as much as possible. If you keep your work area, implements, and the containers clean, then the acid in the mixture should destroy unwanted strains of bacteria. The most likely contaminant is common mold, which is usually green, brown, or black. If you see mold or the usual pancake does not form, your kombucha is ruined ? you need to toss it out and start again. Per the recipe on thekitchn.com, too, note that a cheesy or rotten odor also indicates it?s time to start fresh.

Per wikipedia, the pH of kombucha should be between 2.5 and 4.6 ? higher than 4.6 and molds or unwanted bacteria won?t be inhibited. So, you may want to test the pH at the start and end of brewing to be sure that this condition was maintained. Adding some distilled vinegar can help increase the acidity of your mixture, if it?s too low. However, since you normally add in some of your previous batch into your new batches, that?s usually not necessary. You can use pH strips or a pH meter to test the acidity of your brew.

  1. Brew your base tea.
    Brew up a large batch of black tea, green tea, or white tea. Other teas like Earl Gray will probably have oils that will harm your kombucha, and herbal teas probably won?t have as many health benefits.
  2. Add sugar.
    Sweeten the tea by adding one cup of sugar per gallon of tea. The sugar is necessary for the desired kombucha bacteria to grow. You can use brown sugar, molasses, cane sugar, or pasteurized honey (although honey won?t work as well). The foodrenegade.com recipe notes that honey and agave nectar did not work for the author and the video from CulturesforHealth at the bottom of this article notes that white sugar is much better than the other choices because of its effect on the pH balance.
  3. Let cool.
    It may take a couple of hours for your tea to cool completely.
  4. Put into your brewing container.
    Put your sweetened tea into a large glass jar or similar container. The mayoclinic.com article warns that ceramic containers might be inadvisable because the acid in the brew could leach lead from the glaze.
  5. Add in your starter.

    You need to add some kombucha pancakes from a previous batch or that you obtain.

    • These ?mushrooms? (also called ?scobies? from the bio-acronym SCOBY) come with a bit of juice; add in the juice and then carefully place the pancake on top of your tea. If you don?t have a lot of tea and the pH isn?t right, you may need to add in some distilled vinegar.
    • If you need to obtain a kombucha pancake for the first time and none of your friends or family have one, check the end of this post for a list of possible online vendors you might consider.
    • The active.com article also says you can grow one at home just using a raw kombucha drink from a health store; I haven?t tried that and foodrenegade.com has an article about the failure you will probably find with that approach.
  6. Cover.
    Cover it with a breathable cloth (I use cheesecloth). Air is needed for the bacteria to grow; you can?t seal it tight. You might want to rubber-band it to the lid to seal it as well as possible.
  7. Let it sit.
    Move it someplace without a lot of light. Wait at least 5 days, although for a stronger fermentation you might want to wait for up to 14 days. It also depends on your temperature; the colder it is the longer the fermentation process will take.
  8. Sift out the ?mother? starter and new ?baby?, if one formed.
    Take out the starter you put in during step 5. A new pancake may have formed on the top; if so separate this ?baby? from the ?mother?. You need to store these away with some of the fermented tea (10-25% of your total yield), both to keep them alive and for addition to your new batch. Depending on your temperature, you may want to put the patty or patties into the refrigerator ? but you don?t want them to sit for too long without starting them on a new batch. If you got a ?baby? pancake and are only going to use one, just use that one and discard or give away the ?mother?.
  9. Optionally, add in fruit juice.
    If you?re the sensitive type, add in some fruit juice for a better flavor at this point. I?ve never done this because I enjoy the flavor of kombucha. If you do this, put a lid on your jar and put it away for another 48 hours after adding the juice.

If you would prefer visuals of this process or other recipes, there?s quite a good selection on instructables.com and a video below. If you start having trouble with your kombucha brewing, kombucha_balance on users.bestweb.net has some troubleshooting tips.

Online Vendors

Please note that I am not recommending any of these stores and that you should competitively shop around and check the reputations of any online vendors before you buy. My family obtained our starting culture from a friend, I?ve never ordered kombucha kits from any of these companies.

THE RESET: Obama: voters would blame both parties

President Barack Obama makes congressional Republicans the villains in the government's drama of lurching from crisis to crisis. But he also suggests Americans would "blame all of Washington" if there's a government shutdown or delays in Social Security benefits and other payments.

In his first news conference of the year and last of his first term, Obama said it's up to Congress, ultimately, to decide how to raise and spend money. "And if the Republicans in Congress have made a decision that they want to shut down the government in order to get their way, then they have the votes, at least in the House of Representatives, probably to do that."

Republicans control the House, Democrats the Senate.

Since Obama took office, gridlock on Capitol Hill has been the norm rather than the exception as one fiscal crisis has given way to another.

The government came close to defaulting on some of its obligations in mid-2011 when Republicans balked at raising the ceiling on the government's borrowing authority.

Congress now must again raise the debt ceiling for the government to keep borrowing money to pay its bills ? or face a first-ever default as early as mid-February.

Both sides have dug in. Republicans insist raising the debt ceiling must be combined with big spending cuts. Obama counters he won't negotiate any deal linking the debt limit to spending cuts. It would be "short-sighted" and "profoundly damaging to our economy," he said Monday.

He was asked if he would let the government grind to a halt if he disagreed with spending-cut proposals put forth by Republicans ? and if that happened, who'd be blamed?

Polls show voters are more inclined to blame Republicans than Democrats.

Even so, "I suspect that the American people would blame all of Washington for not being able to get its act together," Obama said.

Happy Thoughts Travel Fast (HTTF): Einstein's Fish

Variations of this riddle appear on the net from time to time. It is sometimes attributed to Albert Einstein and it is claimed that 98% of the people are incapable of solving it. Some commentators suggest that Einstein created such puzzles not to test out intelligence but to get rid of all the students who wanted him as an advisor. It is not likely that there is any truth to these stories. Where ever this comes from, it is a nice riddle.

Let us assume that there are five houses of different colors next to each other on the same road. In each house lives a man of a different nationality. Every man has his favorite drink, his favorite brand of cigarettes, and keeps pets of a particular kind.

??? The Englishman lives in the red house.
??? The Swede keeps dogs.
??? The Dane drinks tea.
??? The green house is just to the left of the white one.
??? The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
??? The Pall Mall smoker keeps birds.
??? The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhills.
??? The man in the center house drinks milk.
??? The Norwegian lives in the first house.
??? The Blend smoker has a neighbor who keeps cats.
??? The man who smokes Blue Masters drinks bier.
??? The man who keeps horses lives next to the Dunhill smoker.
??? The German smokes Prince.
??? The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
??? The Blend smoker has a neighbor who drinks water.

The question to be answered is:?

Who keeps fish??

This is a simple constraint satisfaction problem.? Let us start by defining a regular language that consists of all the possible solutions for the puzzle. We need five basic variables: Color of the house, Nationality of the owner, and his favorite Drink, Cigarette, and Pet. We define each variable as the language of the possible values of the variable.

??? define Color [blue | green | red | white | yellow];
??? define Nationality [Dane | Englishman | German | Swede | Norwegian];
??? define Drink [bier | coffee | milk |tea | water];
??? define Cigarette [Blend | BlueMaster | Dunhill | PallMall | Prince];
??? define Pet [birds | cats | dogs | fish | horses];

The next concept to define is that of a House. Let us construe it as a concatenation of the five terms defined above:

??? define???? House???? [Color Nationality Drink Cigarette Pet];

With five variables each taking one of five possible values, this gives quite a number of possible households, 5x5x5x5x5 = 3125, to be exact. A road with five houses next to each other, House^5, provides an astronomical number of possible combinations of colors, nationalities, drinks, cigarettes and pets.

To solve Einstein?s puzzle, we represent each of the fifteen constraints as a regular language and intersect these languages with the initial set of all possibilities. If all goes well, at the end we will know who keeps fish. For example, we can interpret The Englishman lives in the red house. as $[red Englishman]. This constraint is trivial to encode because in our representation of a house, the color and the nationality are adjacent. The second costraint, The Swede keeps dogs could be represented as $[Swede Drink Cigarette dogs] but we will choose a less verbose formulation, $[Swede ~$Pet dogs], that does not explicitly list the variables that separate Nationality and Pet. The fifteen constraints are shown below.

??? define???? C1???? $[red Englishman];
??? # The Englishman lives in the red house.
??? define???? C2???? $[Swede ~$Pet dogs];
??? # The Swede keeps dogs.
??? define???? C3???? $[Dane tea];
??? # The Dane drinks tea.
??? define???? C4???? $[green ~$Color white];
??? # The green house is just to the left of the white one.
??? define???? C5???? $[green ~$Drink coffee];
??? # The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
??? define???? C6???? $[PallMall birds];
??? # The Pall Mall smoker keeps birds.
??? define???? C7???? $[yellow ~$Cigarette Dunhill];
??? # The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhills.
??? define???? C8???? [House^2 ~$Drink milk ~$Drink House^2];
??? # The man in the center house drinks milk.
??? define???? C9???? [? Norwegian ?*];
??? # The Norwegian lives in the first house.
??? define???? C10???? $[Blend ? ~$Pet cats | cats ~$Cigarette Blend];
??? # The Blend smoker has a neighbor who keeps cats.
??? define???? C11???? $[horses ~$Cigarette Dunhill | Dunhill ? ~$Pet horses];
??? # The man who keeps horses lives next to the Dunhill smoker.
??? define???? C12???? $[bier BlueMaster];
??? # The man who smokes Blue Masters drinks bier.
??? define???? C13???? $[German ~$Cigarette Prince];
??? # The German smokes Prince.
??? define???? C14???? $[Norwegian ~$Color blue | blue ? ~$Nationality Norwegian];
??? # The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
??? define???? C15???? $[Blend ~$Drink water | water ? ~$Cigarette Blend];
??? # The Blend smoker has a neighbor who drinks water.

All that we need to do to solve the problem is to impose the constraints on the row of five houses by intersection. The solution below is almost correct.

??? define???? Solution [House^5 & C1 & C2 & C3 &C4 & C5 &
???????????????????? C6 & C7 & C8 & C9 & C10 &
???????????????????? C11 & C12 & C13 & C14 & C15];

The result is a network with five paths. In four of the solutions nobody keeps fish and the German keeps the same kind of pet as someone else. We need one final constraint, presupposed by the question Who keeps fish?:

??? define???? C16???? $fish;
??? # There is someone who keeps fish.

With C16 added, only one solution remains. To make it easier to see, we compose the solution with the transducer that adds some prose around the pieces along the one remaining path:

??? define???? Describe???? [House -> "In the " ... .o.
?????????? Color -> ... " house " .o.
?????????? Nationality -> "the " ... " " .o.
?????????? Drink -> "drinks "... ", " .o.
?????????? Cigarette -> "smokes "... "s,\n and " .o.
?????????? Pet -> "keeps " ... ".\n"] ;

We can now see the solution!

??? regex [Solution .o. Describe];
??? 76 states, 75 arcs, 1 path.
??? xfst[2]: print lower-words
??? In the yellow house the Norwegian drinks water, smokes Dunhills,
????? and keeps cats.
??? In the blue house the Dane drinks tea, smokes Blends,
????? and keeps horses.
??? In the red house the Englishman drinks milk, smokes PallMalls,
????? and keeps birds.
??? In the green house the German drinks coffee, smokes Princes,
????? and keeps fish.
??? In the white house the Swede drinks bier, smokes BlueMasters,
????? and keeps dogs.

In short, it?s the German who keeps fish.
