I posted this on a few of the FB groups and thought it was an interesting conversation. A topic on this site brought it up, thought some insight from all of you would be great. What do you think about female vs male birds as pets? I constantly hear that males make better bets because they are less aggressive and nippy in nature. I personally agree with my Lovebirds, because all of my males are extremely docile compared to the females which often become quite aggressive during their "hormonal" stages. Especially during their first year. I have also heard the same about ekkies. Do you think it's species specific?
