Most Android developers don't offer in-app purchases, but the ones that make a lot of money do, according to a new report from Distimo. The mobile analytics firm found that 74 percent of top-grossing iPad apps, 80 percent of top-grossing iPhone apps and 56 percent of top-grossing Android apps use in-app purchases. However, only 10 percent of all iPad apps, 6 percent of all iPhone apps and 2 percent of Android apps offer some sort of in-app purchases.
Google first enabled in-app purchases for its platform in May of 2011.
